My previous role of many years was in our family run business. It was a fast paced environment which at times could be very stressful. After suffering a couple of health issues directly attributed to stress and anxiety I decided it would be in my own best interest to devote more time to self care and began looking for ways to de-stress, to chill, to lead a more holistic lifestyle.

 

That’s when Reiki found me! It was a revelation and I knew immediately that I wanted to follow the path that would lead me to where I am today.

I completed my Level 1 training here in Scotland at The Reiki Retreat. It was a very healing and emotional experience. It was the beginning of a new way and without doubt it has helped with my stress and anxiety issues. This inspired me to further develop my learning in order to be able to give Reiki healing to others.

 

In the Autumn of 2024 my husband retired from our business and I decided to leave then too. Together with our faithful hound Montgomery, the three of us  went on a wee road trip to Portugal, a place we were very fond of having had a holiday home there for many years. We spent many weeks in the Algarve and whilst there I completed my Level 2 Reiki training at All Things Reiki in Aljezur. It was a very intense, emotional and enlightening experience that has had a profound impact on me. 

 

In May 2025  Reiki Life  became a reality with the opening of my own Reiki Practice and Wellness Gift shop in Crieff.  It is my privilege to bring healing energy to those who need an escape from the stresses and strains of modern life.
